Jiangsu Huadong Paper Machinery traces its origins back to Kunshan Chengnan Copper Plating Plant, founded by Mr. Sun Chunshan in 1980. In 1982, the enterprise commenced the processing and manufacturing of paper-making machinery. Over more than 40 years of development, through expansion, restructuring, transformation and upgrading, it has been successively renamed Kunshan Zhonglian No.1 Paper Machinery Factory and Jiangsu Huadong Paper Machinery Co., Ltd.
In 2008, the company invested 150 million yuan to build a supporting industrial base for paper-making machinery in Jiangyan, namely Jiangsu Xianghua Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd.
In 2018, to advance the industrial upgrading and intelligent transformation of paper-making equipment, the enterprise invested nearly 1.5 billion yuan to relocate its entire R&D and production base to the Economic & Technological Development Zone of Dongtai City, Jiangsu Province, establishing Jiangsu Huadong Paper Machinery (Dongtai) Co., Ltd.
Nestled within the Huadong Industrial Park today, the enterprise has built a solid foundation with robust comprehensive strength. It is a national high-tech enterprise specializing in the research, design and manufacture of large-sized, high-speed and wide-width paper-making machinery.
Uniting the joint efforts of over 600 employees, Jiangsu Huadong Paper Machinery (Dongtai) Co., Ltd. has assembled a modern R&D and design team consisting of more than 100 professional engineering and technical personnel boasting extensive experience in the development, design and production of large high-speed paper machines. The company has obtained certifications for the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System and ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, and holds independent import and export rights.
